Which type of condom is best for first time?

For first-time use, a standard thin, lubricated latex condom is usually best. It’s easy to use, widely available, and provides good sensitivity without being too fragile. Look for following types are better choice for you:

  • Pre-lubricated (more comfort, less friction)
  • Regular fit (not too tight or loose)
  • Smooth or lightly textured (avoid intense ribs initially)

Avoid to choose ultra-thin or novelty types at first, they can be harder to handle. More functional condom isn't recommended, such as warming or cooling condoms, or others feeling condom isn't right choice for first time. If there’s a latex allergy, choose polyurethane or polyisoprene condom instead.
